Our Dream Big Movement

KGI Launches the Dream Big Movement

Korin Gamadji Institute are excited to announce the launch of our newest initiative, the Dream Big Movement.

Dream Big is an holistic health and wellbeing initiative for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth aged 13-25. The Dream Big Movement is designed to inspire Indigenous young people to do just that, Dream Big.

The program draws on health and wellbeing as key pillars for success and is supported by Richmond Football Club star players, Marlion Pickett and Shai Bolton, as program Ambassadors. Throughout the Dream Big Movement, participants will get the chance to hear directly from Marlion and Shai about their experiences and advice on leading a healthy, active lifestyle.

To launch the movement, Korin Gamadji Institute will be holding the Dream Big Expo on Friday 29 July, offering young Indigenous people the opportunity to spend the day at Richmond Football Club, meet Marlion and Shai and hear from some of the health and wellbeing experts that work with the football team behind the scenes.

Dream Big aligns with KGI’s refreshed purpose, “to provide culturally safe spaces for young mob chasing big dreams to grow and emerge”.
